It seems untouchable in Canada – Los Angeles Times

Surprised because they never imagined their music would sound big in Canada, the members of Intocable were the stars of MexFest, which took place in Toronto.

The musicians arrived in this city on Sunday to give a show full of hits in front of 8 thousand people gathered at Dundas Square, an emblematic place of this region of maple country.

“We are all very happy, we never thought that in Canada there would be an audience for Nordic music and even less for the group Intocable and what a nice surprise because we had a very warm welcome from everyone the fans,” said Daniel Sánchez. , sixth bass of the group.

Although they are Texans, the performers of hits like “Y Todo para Qué?” and “Aire” were invited to the fourth edition of this free festival, organized with the aim of promoting Mexican culture.

“It's a cool Canada, it's very nice, we highly recommend it to people who didn't come, we only stayed for about half a day and with that we realized that it was very nice” , said René Martínez, drummer of the group. .

“We want to come back, I hope we come back soon, whether for work or for tourism,” added Ricky Muñoz, leader of the group.

Behind the organization of this event with Mexican accents is the royal Pável Díaz, who has lived in this country for four years.
“I have had the opportunity to coordinate several events in Canada, but coordinating MexFest at Dundas Square, one of Toronto's iconic venues promoting Mexico, our culture, is the best experience when you are away from home self,” mentioned Díaz.

“The producer of the event is also from Mexico, his name is Adal Aguilar, and one of the goals he has as a producer, and one of the most important visions he has here, is precisely to promote Mexican culture, which Canadians “love a lot,” he added.

The two Mexicans hope to participate again in the fifth edition of MexFest, which will be held in the same city next year.
