On the other hand, if the purpose of the visit to Canada is to study or work, Ecuadorian citizens will need to apply for a student visa or a work visa, respectively, and meet the specific requirements for each type of visa.

To apply for a Canadian visa, you must follow these steps:

  • Have your passport active.

  • Gather all supporting documents for your visa application.
  • Complete the VFS Global Consent Form.
  • Once the visa application has been made and the supporting documents submitted, you will need to make an appointment to present the biometrics at a visa application centre.
