In Canada, a series of knife attacks in Saskatchewan kills

Police in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan were on the hunt for two suspects on Sunday, with alerts and warnings extended to Alberta and Manitoba, then reports of multiple stab wounds three hours earlier north of the provincial capital, which left 10 dead in 13 localities in the region.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said the attacks took place in several locations, including the James Smith Cree Indian Nation and the town of Weldon, northeast of Saskatoon, early Sunday morning. Early indications suggested that the victims may have been randomly targeted.but police did not say how many people were injured, whether anyone was killed, or provide a possible motive.

The search for suspects was carried out when fans arrived in Regina for an annual sold-out Labor Day game between the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

The Regina Police Service, in a news release, said with the assistance of the RCMP, they are investigating multiple fronts to locate and arrest the suspects and had “deployed additional public safety resources throughout the city, including the football game at Mosaic Stadium”.

The alert first issued by RCMP in Melfort, Saskatchewan at around 7 a.m. local time was extended hours later to cover Manitoba and Alberta, with the two suspects still at large.

Damien Sanderson was described as 170 centimeters and 70 kilograms, and Myles Sanderson as 182 centimeters and 90 kilograms. They both have black hair and brown eyes and can drive a black Nissan Rogue. The Saskatchewan Health Authority said multiple patients were being treated at various sites.

“A call has been made for additional personnel to respond to the influx of victims,” authority spokeswoman Anne Linemann said in an email.

Mark Oddan, spokesperson for STARS Air Ambulance, said two helicopters were dispatched from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and one from Regina. added that two took patients from the scene to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, while the third took a patient to Royal University from a hospital in Melfort, a short distance southeast of Weldon. reiterated that due to privacy laws, he could not reveal information about their age, gender or condition.
