Not even the suffocating heat that enveloped Santiago on Monday could stop the illusion of 25,000 people who enjoyed the Imagine Dragons concert in Monte do Gozo. The American pop rock band has chosen Compostela as the setting for their only solo concert on the Iberian Peninsula as part of their Mercury Tour. She did so accompanied by her usual opening number, the Canadians Mother Mother, and Vigo singer-songwriter Dani, who was tasked with providing a local brushstroke to a room full of folks from all of Spain.
After ten o’clock in the evening, the protagonists of the evening jumped on stage. It was enough to listen to the first chords of It’s time, the opening theme, to unleash the madness of the spectators, totally dedicated to the show from start to finish.
