Formula E today announced that technical partner Hankook Tire will be the title sponsor for five races at the Mexico City, Rome and London E-Prix during the ninth season of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
The 2023 Hankook Mexico City E-Prix, to be held on January 14, will be the first race of the ninth season and the competitive debut of the new Gen3, the fastest, lightest, lightest electric racing car powerful and most efficient ever built. .
As technical partner of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship from Season 9, Hankook Tire will introduce its new high-performance EV racing tires on the Gen3 racing car, with materials made from 26% rubber durable that will be completely recycled at the end of its useful life.
Season 9 concludes on July 29 and 30 with the Hankook London E-Prix 2023, a double-header racing weekend that takes place on the exclusive indoor and outdoor circuit at the ExCeL London event venue.
Ahead of the final weekend of the season in London will be the Hankook Rome E-Prix 2023, another double-header racing weekend that will take place on the streets of the Eternal City on July 15-16.
