Germany and Canada joined Serbia and the United States in the semifinals of the Basketball World Cup 2023, which takes place in Japan, Indonesia and the Philippines. The Germans beat Latvia 81-79, while the Canadians beat Luka Doncic's Slovenia 100-89.
Additionally, the Germans and Serbians secured their spots at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where both U.S. teams qualifying for the semifinals had already qualified.
On Friday, at 5:45 p.m., Serbia will face Canada, and starting at 9:40 a.m. the United States and Germany will face off for a place in the World Cup final, scheduled for Sunday, September 10 from 9:40 a.m.
