San Juan, Puerto Rico.- Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Luis Fonsi announced this Friday that he will resume on July 20 in Quebec, Canada, his “25th anniversary tour” across Europe, North America and Latin America, with which he celebrates his first quarter century of career.
During his presentations, the musician will perform his greatest hits and new songs from his latest album, “El Viaje.”
After his presentation in Quebec, Fonsi will continue his tour in Spain. There, he will offer concerts in Castrelos, Barcelona, Plasencia and Jerez de la Frontera.
It will then continue in August in Cluj, Romania. Later, he will return to Spain to perform in the cities of Alicante, Cadiz and Almería, as well as Nerja (Málaga), all on the Mediterranean coast.
On September 13, the singer of the songs “Santa Marta”, “Andalucía” and “San Juan” – included in her eleventh album “El Viaje” – will begin the second phase of her tour in the United States in Seattle, Washington.
The months of October and November will be the busiest of Fonsi's tour. The Puerto Rican will take his music to cities in the United States, Mexico, Argentina and Chile. Finally, it would culminate on November 23 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Fonsi gave the first concert of this tour in February of this year, at the WiZink Center in Madrid, in front of a sold-out audience.
Thousands of people attended a first-class show, with an artist who left it all on stage, taking those present on an impressive musical journey of ballads and rhythmic songs, the statement said.
The second concert was successfully held in the Spanish city of Calahorra (north) on June 22.
