Elon Musk buys Twitter and fires the company’s top executives
The CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk, finalized this Thursday the acquisition of the social network Twitter for a value of 44 billion dollars (a similar figure in euros) and made the dismissal of its main leaders.
Among those fired, according to US media, would be CEO Parag Agrawal; CFO Ned Segal; Legal and Policy Director Vijaya Gadde; and the firm’s lead attorney, Sean Edgett. The decision comes just a day after Musk told employees he was giving up on laying off 75% of workers, as I originally thought.
