Participants in the XV National Meeting of Cuban Residents in Canada condemned the economic, commercial and financial blockade that the United States has maintained against the island for more than 60 years, diplomatic sources revealed.

The meeting was held virtually and brought together members of Cuban associations based in major cities such as Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto.

the news agency Latin pressreported that in addition to ratifying the commitment to the Revolution, participants shared their experiences on the work undertaken by the West Indian community in the northern nation, and major achievements were reviewed.

Cubans living in Canada are actively joining the demands to end the Washington blockade. Another proof of this is the caravan that is taking place today in Vancouver to denounce this punitive policy.
