In a resounding match, the Cuban national team won 3×0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-23) in the final of the Pan American Volleyball Cup to the Canadian hosts and say goodbye to the tournament without having lost a single set.
Cuba was far superior from the start of the tournament. None of the mainland rivals went with their main tricks, and as such it showed on the pitch in every game.
The team will return to the island and on August 20 they will travel to Slovenia to make their debut on the 26th of this month at the Volleyball World Cup.
