All elite wrestling is lucky. Forbidden Gate AEW x NJPW IIthe show taking place on the 25th from Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, the first of a six-event tour of Canada, including the following episodes of Dynamite, Rampage and a new “AEW House Rules Tour” event, took a great success in presale ticketing.
As reported by Mike Johnson, reporter for PW Insider, AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door II presale managed to sell 11,000 of 12,000 seats which have been made available to the public. Media outlet WrestleTix reported that the venue is set to accommodate 13,662 people, which could increase the 12,030 tickets currently given out.
Dave Meltzer, reporter for Wrestling Observer, reported yesterday afternoon that the collection of Forbidden Door II had exceeded one million Canadian dollars, which is great news for the company. Presale ends tonight at 10 a.m. (ET). The sale to the general public will begin tomorrow at 10 a.m. ET.
After selling out the Coca-Cola Coliseum in minutes for AEW’s Toronto debut last October, the Scotiabank Center will host the “Forbidden Door” pay-per-view, marking the second edition of this innovative event that pits the best and the brightest talents among the lists of AEW and NJPW.
