Clemens’ son drunk and imprisoned

“Boring is the one who tells me about his successes instead of telling me about mine”… Dick Secades.

Question of the week…: There’s more talk and posts about who Shohei Ohtani will play in 2024 than what he’s doing now with the Angels, who are paying him $30 million. In Anaheim, they seem uninterested in continuing with the Japanese on the list, as they assure that their agents, “CAA Sports”, expect to sign him for 500 million for 10 seasons. Which teams are most likely to stay with the young man with dual faculties?

The answer…: The number one favorites, the Dodgers. But the Cubs have more cash on hand. Rangers announced they would do “everything possible” to keep the Japanese. Nothing was said by the Yankees, Mets, Padres, Giants or Red Sox.

Wait no sweet. I’m waiting for Commissioner Rob Manfred and his partners at ESPN and FOX to release the book of their new rules, along with amendments to the others. Let’s see if I understand. I imagine it’s an encyclopedic-sized, atmospherically boring tome.

Great closer. Before a match with the visiting Tigers, at the Roger Center in Toronto, the Blue Jays’ closest, Jordan Romano, received the “Tip O’Neill” trophy, awarded by the Canadian Hall of Fame. Romano had one of the best close campaigns in Canadian baseball in 2022.

“Don’t worry because you are going to die, but give thanks to God for having enjoyed this life”… Mother Teresa of Calcutta.

Clementien Parranda. One of Roger Clemens’ four sons, Phillies infielder Kory, 34, was a party animal and a shocker. Once again, he crashed his car in Houston at 2:22 a.m. causing damage to other vehicles.

He could barely stand when the police took him out of the car. He was arrested, until they post bail.

Incredible injury. Silly formula for injury, the one chosen by the reliever of the White Sox, Joe Kelly, 34 years old. When he recently started a fight with the Pirates, he ran from the bullpen toward home plate, straining his groin during the effort.

It was after the play that left the Pirates’ O’Neill Cruz with a fractured left ankle when he collided with White Sox wide receiver Seby Zavala.

“All boring, he only stops talking when he wants to know if we are listening”… Pacomio.

Thank you to the life that has given me so much, even to a reader like you.
