Chris Jericho retains the ROH World Championship on AEW Dynamite

During broadcasts of AEW Dynamite via TBS and Fite TV, the wrestler Chris Jericho managed to retain the ROH World Championship after beating Bryan Danielson hand in hand.

It was Game 4 on Wednesday night in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. After rejecting the honor code, Bryan began a series of attacks which were quickly leveled by “The Lionheart”. That of the Blackpool Combat Club exchanged several keys of surrender with the champion, including a Walls of Jericho torn from his opponent.

After being accidentally pushed, referee Paul Turner fell unconscious at ringside. Jericho won the ROH title determined to knock out his rival, but Daniel Garcia seemed to avoid the attack. Danielson looked for a Psycho Knee, but surprisingly was intercepted by Garcia with the PURE beltallowing Jericho to win by the count of three.

In this way, Chris Jericho retains the ROH World Championship in his second starting defense. The Jericho Appreciation Society leader is celebrating 21 days since winning the title at the AEW Dynamite Grand Slam. “The Wizard” defeated Claudio Castagnoli on Sept. 21 in New York City to earn his eighth All Elite Wrestling Recognized World Title (along with six from WWE and one from AEW).
