Chilean golfers, Joaquín Niemann and ‘Mito’ Pereira, are part of the international team that will face the American team in the President’s Cup which will take place from September 19-25.
Nail great news for national sports and especially for Joaquín Niemann and ‘Mito’ Pereira, who will compose the international team that will face the American representatives in the big President’s Cup tournament.
The Chileans being the only Latinos on the team, their nomination for the casting is due to their good sports results in golf. Niemann and Pereira have firmly established themselves in best discipline tournaments and which earned them to join the powerful team that seeks to beat the American golfers.
Those who also make up the international cast are Australians Cameron Smith (winner of the 2022 Open Championship) and adam scott (former world number one), South Koreans Sungjae Im (11th in the FedEx Cup standings) and Joo Hyung Kim (19th worldwide), the Japanese Hideki Matsuyama (champion of the Masters 2021) and the Canadian Corey Conners (Winner Valero Texas Open 2019), apart from the Chileans.
For its part, the powerful North American team is made up of the current World No. 1 Scottie Schefflerwith Sam Burns (4th in the FedEx Cup race), patrick canlay (winner of the 2022 BMW Championship), Tony Finau (two wins this season), Xander Schauele (gold at Tokyo 2021) and Justin Thomas (Winner of the PGA Championship).
Undoubtedly an excellent championship where Joachim Niemann will see action for the second time in this tournament. While ‘Myth’ Pereira, will make his debut in the crosses against the Americans at the end of September.
