According to Notimex, CFL Commissioner Randy Ambrosie emphasized that the idea of ​​having the best Mexican players in Canada is to do so with the mission of develop American football and the Mexican League like the one he represents have raised this possibility.

“A great opportunity to be in Mexico. Throughout history, Mexico and Canada have maintained close relations and this is a good opportunity for this project; East the start of an alliance between the two leagues. Likewise, he explained that in the short term, national players can be added to Canadian teams, “this is something that has been discussed with the governors of the CFL, they have open arms for the proposal according to which only the best can be part of the CFL.

Regarding the possibility of organizing CFL matches in Mexico, the sports manager considered that it could be an exhibition and work is underway to carry it out in the not too distant future.
