The North American country has become a work alternative for many Latinos, since they see opportunities to have better salaries in jobs that, in Latin American countries, are not paid as well.

This is the case of plumbers and vehicle handymen who, in Canada, receive salaries of up to 15 million pesos plus other benefits.
Likewise, they are looking for staff there for other types of trades such as caring for cats, where the main tasks, according to the Cat Sitter Services Toronto portal, are:
- Play with cats.
- Feed and clean feline dishes.
- Monitor any health issues they may have.
- Provide medication when needed.
Canada: how much do they pay to take care of cats
The platform where vacancies are offered to be aware of feline offers up to 20 Canadian dollars an hour, just over 68,000 Colombian pesos.

In an 8-hour day, the worker would earn 160 Canadian dollars, or nearly 550,000 Colombian pesos in a day.
