THE Toronto Blue Jays retire celebratory jacket from last season’s home runbut fans have yet to see the latest. Right starter Kevin Gausman said last Sunday that “The team plans to autograph the jacket and auction it off for charity.”
“Some Blue Jays fans may have him in his man cave (closet)”Gausman added, according to famed Sports Illustrated reporter Ethan Diamandas.
Known colloquially as “Barrio Jacket (Barrio Jacket)”, Blue Jays batters would use it in the dugout to celebrate a home run. The blue blazer featured crests for each Jays player’s country of origin.
