The logo of singer Rosalía’s album Motomami will appear on the shirt that Barcelona players will wear during the ‘Clásico’ next Sunday’s league at the Camp Nou, club azulgrana reported on Wednesday.
The initiative is framed in sponsorship deals for the online music streaming platform Spotify with Barca.
It will be the second time that the Barcelona team has worn a singer’s logo on the shirt instead of that of its main sponsor Spotify, dAfter the last league ‘Clásico’ last October bore the symbol of Canadian rapper Drake.
“This time it’s the turn of the most international Catalan singer of the moment, Rosalía”, Barca said in a statement.
“The logo of his latest album, Motomami, can be seen exclusively on the chest of the players during the Clásico which will be played at Spotify Camp Nou on Sunday March 19.”added the Barcelona club.
The Motomami logo will also appear on the shirt that members of the Barça women’s team will wear during the match. League against Real Madrid on March 25.
Barça specify that it is a way of commemorating the first year of the release of the third album of the Spanish singer, Winner of the Grammy for best alternative or Latin rock album during the last edition of these awards.
“In 2022, Rosalía was the most played Spanish-born artist in the world on Spotify”said Barcelona.
