The entire Mexican Caribbean is going through an unforgettable winter season with the flow of tourists from the United States and also increasingly from Canada arriving at the hotels of the destination. The sector expects occupancy levels between 90% and 95%, according to Julián Balbuena, member of the Advisory Council of the National Council of Tourism Businesses (CNET) and promoter of Bestday.

“Which speaks to the success we have in the destination as competing destinations are also looking to build bridges and that’s because tour operators are also interested in doing multi-destination and well, the Mexican Caribbean and particularly us, well now highlighting, let’s say as a main focus of these activities, so a positive expectation towards the close and a successful season, we will surely be around 90 and 95%, ”he predicted, indicates Noticaribe.

Balbuena said the arrival of the Canadians opens new growth prospects towards the end of the year, as he had pointed out REPORTUR.mx (Cancun: tourists from the USA and Canada stretch the summer until the end of the year)

It should be noted that the reactivation of several of the flights that connect Cancun to the main cities of Canada has already been confirmed and visits have even been made to help promote the Mexican Caribbean and Mexico in general (Torruco convinces Air Canada to study the flight to AIFA).
