In the early hours of this Thursday, the theft of an ATM located inside the headquarters of the Fund for Economic Culture (FCE) in Mexico City was reported.
The theft took place in the building located on the Picacho-Ajusco highway, at the height of the Fuentes del Pedregal neighborhood, the office of the mayor of Tlalpan.
Initial reports say four men arrived at the scene in a van and overpowered the security guard and entered the downstairs ATM area.

Officials removed the ATM and put them in the truck, then fled.
At 6 a.m., employees of the Fund for Economic Culture became aware of the events and alerted the authorities.
