San Francisco, California.- President Andrés Manuel López Obrador is holding a bilateral meeting this afternoon with Justin TrudeauPrime Minister of Canada, in San Francisco, California, as part of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Forum.
Arriving at the meeting and shaking hands with his Canadian counterpart, the Mexican president said:
“We have very good relations with the Prime Minister and with the brotherly people of Canada. “This is our statement,” he said.

In response, and giving a right thumbs up, the Canadian Prime Minister said: “We are very good friends. »
Asked by the Mexican press if he would soon travel to Canada, President López Obrador confirmed this trip in reference to the next Summit of North American Leaders which will take place in that country.
“Yes, we have a meeting pending,” he said.
