The arrival of October and after several weeks of returning to routine, the music returns to the municipality of Pratense with great performances of different genres such as rap, punk, indie, pop or conferences which will take place in La Capsa.

One of the main highlights is the local talent that will be present during the various performances, starting with the singer Pratense Alfred García, who will delight the public in the great hall of the L’Artesà Theater on October 14, starting from 1TOUR, which is based on the preliminary concerts of the 1997 & 2001 TOUR, where he presents his second and third album, the latter still being recorded.

Attendees will be able to listen to songs from his debut album like 1016 and news from his latest album 1997 live. Tickets for the next season of Teatre L’Artesà will go on sale on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 5:00 p.m., on the theater’s website.

From October 21, before the celebration of Halloween, the program of the Guía Sonora concert cycle resumes, to which two new groups are added: Sanatorium and Malos Tragos. On October 22, #4Raons Tardor will take place at the theater, which dives into community collaboration and creation in an e-edition and uploaded BPMs! In this edition, the producer and CLARAGUILAR will work with the Adult Choir of the École des arts vivants, a unique encounter that promises to be exciting.

October will end with a performance on the 29th from LaBandaTonPare and Jack’s Sons, who will share the stage. Two groups, two styles, a common scene. A group of Pratense origin against a group of American origin. They’re likeable bands and they want to compare their styles by reviewing the best rock ‘n’ roll of all time, LaBandaTonPare’s versions of 80s classics versus the more authentic R&R of the Jack’s Sons.

Reunions on the November program

The month of November will be very special, since we are lucky enough to be able to host one of the two concerts of the Costa Brava meeting after fifteen years. On the 5th, the Zaragoza group will take stock of their career in an evening that promises to be memorable.

We will also have the rap group Las Ninyas del Corro, this group from the outskirts of Barcelona will play in the hall on the 11th. Then we will change genres but without losing the disruptive spirit, and it is that on Thursday, November 17, we will celebrate a new edition of the Decompositor, the club for listening and shared musical discovery, this time dedicated to Leonard Cohen and directed by Alberto Manzano, author of various biographies and personal friend of the Canadian musician.

We will close the month with a Micro Obert on the stage of the Bar, an infallible tool to know the state of health of Pratense music! Ship musicians, students from the School of Living Arts, musicians residing in El Prat or friends of friends come on stage to share their work, perform their first live show or test their most recent compositions. A unique opportunity to knit!

December of punk and bands

December 3, La Plata arrives on stage at La Capsa to present Acción Directa, his second feature film, with the company of the Pinpilinpussies, a Barcelona band full of noise and punk, who will present their work Hipocondría. On December 10, we return to the stage of the Bar with the proposal of Laura Sam and Juan Escribano, who will present “La Voz en Contra”, a work where speech and electronics go hand in hand to generate songs like strokes of fist.

And before Christmas, we return to the meadows with the presentation of “Migente”, the first feature film by Fermi, half of Tronco, leading his solo project, which for the first time will be accompanied by the dream team, his group. However, we cannot end the year without celebrating together a new Jam Session at the Bar, which will take place on December 18th.
