Louis Portelles is the Cuban who will represent Canada in Beauty pageant most important man at the international level, the Mister Supranational 2023which will take place next July in Małopolskie, Poland.

After three years out of this type of competition, the Canadian country returns to the contest with this young man who was born in the eastern province of Holguín and grew up in Montreal.

On his Instagram profile, Portelles announced his participation in the contest and said he was honored to represent a nation that has given him so much: “I am determined to work hard and prepare as much as possible so that I can do my best and compete. for the prestigious title of Mr. Supranational”.

One of Portelles’ objectives is to show the world the cultural diversity, beauty and values ​​of Canada.

Although he is now immersed in this world of beauty pageants, the Cuban-Canadian is a content creator and analyst of international pageants, and recently graduated from the communication program of the University of Montreal.

However, the Mister Supranational is not the first experience of Luis Portelles in these spaces since he usually participates there even as a judge, as is the case of Miss Philippines Earth 2023.

Last year coincided with the Cuba’s representative at Miss Earth 2022, Sheyla Raveloand although she did not win in this edition, Portelles assured that he felt very proud of her “for having raised the name of our country in one of the most important parades in the world”.

Although he is representing Canada this time, Luis cannot choose between his native Cuba and the country where he became who he is today, which is why he proudly wears both flags.
