Creel is reprimanded for his statements against AMLO; Before giving a position, you should consult the benches

After the chairman of the board of directors of the Chamber of Deputies, Santiago Creel, pointed out that Andrés Manuel López Obrador was pressuring lawmakers to approve the reform of the armed forces, the deputies reprimanded the member of the PAN and agreed that before deciding, you should consult the banks.

“I think it was a good dialogue between all the benches and we agreed to improve the communication between the Council (Directive) and the Political Coordination Council (Jucopo), well, everyone’s position is that this type of declaration must come first to a political agreement”, declared the coordinator of the PRI, Rubén Moreira.

When asked if after this agreement, Santiago Creel should consult the Jucopo before deciding, the member of the PRI answered “I think that the important thing is to consult all the political forces, especially when we have had a vote majority in favor of the reform, with two-thirds.”

He pointed out that as a deputy he can say whatever he wants, but in the video where he makes these statements he positions himself as chairman of the board of directors, for which he repeated that to make a statement in this regard, he must discuss it in the Jucopo.

“Freedom of expression remains in the exercise of the power we have, he can as a deputy express whatever he wants, but he displayed himself, first as president of the Congress then as president of the Table, and therefore, representative of the House, when two-thirds had voted another way, ”he said.
