President Andrés Manuel López Obrador affirmed this Friday that many people will attend his march on Sunday because they are satisfied with the way he has carried out economic and social policies during his four years of government.
“I take this opportunity to invite them, there are a lot of transported because they are very happy with the fight against corruption, there are millions of people who will come, they are transported because they come to celebrate that the oligarchy no longer dominates in Mexico.
“A lot of people come with hauls, they are happy that there is real democracy in this country, a lot of people with hauls come who are happy because the public budget is now really public and does not remain in the hands of a minority and is distributed fairly and reaches everyone,” the chief executive told a press conference from the National Palace.
The Tabasco native claimed that despite attacks from the opposition seeking to discredit his government, the people, who led him to the presidency in 2018 with nearly 30 million votes, are there because his political project is maintained .
In this sense, he said that many beneficiaries of his social programs will participate in the march on Sunday, November 27, such as the elderly, young people who have scholarships to study, as well as farmers who have benefited from Sembrado Vida, among others.
“There are going to be a lot of towed trucks, if there is no more time to tow more or if there is no possibility that there will be more, it is because there there are no trucks, where will so many trucks come from? There are none,” he said.
“So we’re going to organize well because it’s a party and of course there are, like in all parties, spoilers, but they can’t stop a celebration that has to do with the transformation of Mexico because they had not been seen,” he added.
The Federal President announced that members of his political movement, which they helped found, will march with him, as well as members of his cabinet such as Marcelo Ebrard, Adán Augusto López Hernández and the head of government of Mexico City , Claudia Sheinbaum .
