The Air Force One presidential plane, where US President Joe Biden is traveling, landed this evening (7:22 p.m.) at “Felipe Ángeles” International Airport (AIFA), from El Paso, Texas, where the US President carried out the supervision of the border with Mexico.
Andrés Manuel López Obrador and the entourage who accompanies him are already waiting for Biden at the place where the reception and the welcoming ceremony will take place, next to the runways of this terminal which has just been inaugurated by the Mexican president on March 21 2022.
After the official reception of the American president, the transfer by ground, in the official vehicle of the democratic president, of the AIFA to a hotel in the district of Polanco, in Mexico City, is planned, where Joe Biden will stay until Wednesday.
The President of the American Union landed at AIFA at the request of López Obrador, who for a few weeks asked Biden to arrive in Mexico through this airport located in the municipality of Zumpango, in the state of Estado from Mexico.
This ceremony will kick off the North American Leaders Summit between the Presidents of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador; Joe Biden of the United States and the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, who will arrive in Mexico on Monday.
