On Sunday December 18, Atlético de Madrid closed the first edition of the Atleti Game Cupan international competition in which six regions of the planet competed to find the best player of FIFA 23. The champion’s trophy was won by Alejandro ‘Pharm’ Arias, a young Mexican who already has the honor of being the first winner of the contest.
How was the first edition of the Atleti Gaming Cup?
The Atleti Game Cup is the first international championship around FIFA 23 organized by Atlético de Madrid, in collaboration with Atlético San Luis and Atlético Otawa. As we said, six regions battled it out to reach the knockout stage in six different tournaments from Spain, Mexico, Canada and the United States (California, New York and Florida).
The December 3 and 4, 2022 the elimination phase was contested, where prizes of all kinds were distributed. The winners of the six championships received a trip for two to attend the grand final which would be held at the Cívitas Metropolitan Auditorium. Pharm arrived there to conquer the capital.
After playing in the final, the event continued with activities for all agessuch as play areas (sponsored by Ria Money Transfer), music and catering.
