Again Williams Racing wanted to do something special with its arrival in the United States for the second Grand Prix of the season in the land of stars and stripes. Under the orders of Capital Dorilton Since August 2020, the Grove team has already decorated its show car of the FW41 on the occasion of the Miami race, opting for an Art Car imagined by the street artist SURGE which now gives way to a much more patriotic version of the single-seater which ran two seasons ago.
It will be exhibited in a small showroom and activities that Williams Racing will have at 800 Congress Avenueand the main details of the American flag were captured there, with a decoration that Captain America himself would surely sign for his own Formula 1. Beyond that, the efforts made by Capital Dorilton in a difficult season for the team despite the fact that its three drivers scored points (Alex Albon, Nicholas Latifi and Nyck De Vries), but in which they continue to occupy the bottom position in the constructors’ section, 26 points from ninth place currently owned by HAAS and AlphaTauri.
Beyond that, it will be the perfect tribute to American, Canadian and Mexican/Latino fans in what will be the 10th anniversary of the Grand Circus visiting the Circuit of the Americas, with a massive presence in the stands. Unfortunately, the evolution of technical regulations has forced teams to make great sacrifices in terms of aesthetics, which means that with the advance of Grands Prix, many single-seaters have left large areas of their body panels undecorated and with visible carbon fiber to reduce weight as much as possible. Without a doubt, it would be very special to see Sergeant Logan made its FP1 debut with the FW44 wearing the stars and stripes.
