New Delhi, Oct 14 (Prensa Latina) Indian shooter Rudraksh Patil was crowned 10-meter air rifle world champion in Cairo today and won the country’s second quota for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Patil, 18, became the second Indian to win the event since Abhinav Bindra achieved the feat in 2006.

Bindra was also later crowned at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, being the first of two Indians to be crowned in summer events, along with Tokyo 2020 gold medalist javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra.
