An unusual situation has been revealed in recent hours in North America. Canadaá, Concacaf representative who will go to Qatar 2022, will play the tournament without new shirts, as he had not planned to qualify for the World Cup.
The multinational Nike, supplier of Canada’s jersey, announced some time ago that Canada will play with the same uniform as the playoffs because “He’s in a different release cycle than the other teams.”
However, it was journalist Duane Rollins who commented on Twitter the reason for this “different cycle” of Canada.
“Canada will not have new kits for the World Cup. The reason: They have to be planned and two years ago the Canadian Association did not foresee that they would succeed.so he has no new outfits planned for 2022.”
Canada, which will be making its second World Cup appearance (the first was in Mexico 86), will join the Group F and will face Belgium, Croatia and Morocco.
At FIFA’s meeting in September, the Canadians will prepare with two friendlies, against Qatar and Uruguay, while their last challenge before the global tournament will be against Japan in the November fortnight.
