In a joint statement, leaders attending the virtual meeting stressed that Russia’s annexation of Crimea was “illegal” and a violation of Ukrainian territorial integrity.

Accordingly, they demanded an end to the “temporary” occupation of the peninsula and demanded that the Kremlin fulfill its international obligations, while defending the maintenance of “pressure” on Moscow.
