Asked about the possibility of reactivating charter trips from Canada, as was the case about 10 years ago during the winter season, when retired Canadian tourists arrived at Ciudad Madero beach and there were several times accompanied by their families, he said that in this sense they are doing the same as the visit to the Tourist Tianguis organized in the city and port of Acapulco, in which they had a notable participation of beach hoteliers , service providers, by making an appointment with certain operators and service providers in the sector. national level, with the support of the Tamaulipas State Government.

She clearly emphasized that nothing concrete has yet been obtained from these meetings with operators and service providers, but the work continues with the aim that Ciudad Madero has tourist promotion at the international level.

For his part, Óscar Izaguirre, Secretary of Economic Development of Ciudad Madero, said that the Ministry of Tourism, both of the municipality and the state, was studying the feasibility of the return of Canadian charter flights.
