In recent statements to the newspaper Le Journal de Montréal, Claudette, her sister, explained that “we can't find any medication that works, but having hope is important,” referring to Céline's current situation.
She assured that “she is listening to the best researchers in the field of this rare disease and will do so as much as possible,” and noted that her sister hopes she can improve.
“She always goes above and beyond, she always tries to be the best, it's something innate in her. “She's disciplined in every area of her life,” he said of his sister's attitude.
Regarding the singer's behavior when she learned of her condition, Claudette confessed to Canadian media that “it was a shock, but she has lost none of her fighting spirit and she feels comforted because at least she knows exactly what she is facing now.”
She also said that since being diagnosed with the disease, which she described as “rare”, the artist has had all the support of her family and that one of her sisters, Linda, has moved in with her to accompany her and help her in all her needs.
