Yesatlink, a Spanish company that develops technological solutions for the maritime sector, has acquired the Canadian Xeos Technologies, a company that develops tracking and surveillance solutions designed for devices for maritime and oceanographic use. Headquartered in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, Xeos works with hundreds of public and private clients. Financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Through this acquisition, Satlink strengthens its position as a technology provider for ocean management and sustainability and consolidates its presence in North Americawhere it was initially established in 2020, and will therefore have offices in Spain, Korea, Taiwan, Seychelles, Ecuador and Fiji, in addition to the new office in Canada.
This transaction will allow us to accelerate our international expansion and improve our product portfolio.
