Canada’s representative in Mexico visited the Control, Command, Informatics and Communications Center (C7-iA) in Ciudad Juárez, where the meeting was held to address issues relevant to both parties.
During the meeting, the Consul highlighted the importance of the northern border of the entity, where Canadian factories, such as BRP, are located, and the need to guarantee security in this municipality, crucial for the international economy.
Furthermore, the representative of the Canadian government mentioned that, according to what she heard from some residents of Juárez during her visit, the city feels safer thanks to the Sentinel strategy.
Sandra Shaddick praises technology used to fight crime and resolve difficult situations, emphasizing that this would not have been possible a few decades ago.
For his part, Gilberto Loya highlighted the work carried out by the State Command Center, which has proven essential in handling important cases and ensuring the safety of the residents of Juárez.
Finally, the secretary reiterated the commitment of the entire society to peace and tranquility for the benefit of the arrival of new investments that improve the quality of life of all, in accordance with the Sentinel philosophy.
