The FIL Guadalajara Poetry Room will bring together 22 poets

Jana Beňová and Mária Ferenčuhová, from Slovakia; Elena Buixaderas, Sylva Fischerová and Jáchym Topol, from Czechia; Berta Dávila, from Spain; Olja Savičević, from Croatia; Zeki Ali, from Cyprus; and the Colombian Piedad Bonnett, lead the group of 22 authors from eleven countries who make up the program of the 16th edition of the Salon de Poésie which will be held from November 25 to December 3, as part of the Guadalajara International Book Fair (THREAD).

The program, which will develop into 22 reading sessions, will offer a wide sample of international contemporary poetry, with the voice of its creators, among whom will also be Andrés Neuman, Juan Santander and Fátima Vélez; as well as the Canadian poet Jean-Marc Desgent, winner of the Grand Prix Québecor of the International Poetry Festival and the Jaime Sabinès/Gatien Lapointe Prize.

Among the poets, among whom will participate Elisa Díaz Castelo, Jorge Humberto Chávez, Rogelio Guedea and Yolanda Ramírez Michel, from Mexico, from Argentina, Canada, Czech Republic, Chile, Cyprus, Colombia, Costa Rica , Croatia, Slovakia and Spain.

The Hall of Poetry was created with the aim of establishing a closer relationship between writers and readers, as well as promoting the dissemination of the genre. This year there will be 22 sessions, details of which can be found on the official website of the Guadalajara International Book Fair. The program is carried out with the support of the European Union, which is the guest of honor of this edition of the FIL; as well as Acción Cultural Española (AC/E), the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage of the Government of Chile, Central America Account, the General Delegation of Quebec in Mexico, the Ministry of Culture of Colombia and the publishers Salto Mortal , the Fund for Economic Culture, Almadía and Penguin Random House.
