The National Electoral Council (CNE) confirmed the candidacy of Federico Gutiérrez for mayor of Medellín for the We Believe partyafter determining that the Antioquia politician had not engaged in dual activism.
Remember that last August 1 Mr. Sergio Mena denounced the candidate before the CNE for dual activism of two political parties: Creo and Centro Democrático.
However, the electoral authority indicated that it was found that “The recording was given only by Creo and therefore the Democratic Center did not co-endorse the said application.” and even if this were the case, this possibility is also legal.
