Toronto Labor Day Parade
Toronto’s traditional Labor Day parade on Lago weekend returns with more than 20,000 union members marching to honor the labor movement.
The parade begins at 9:30 a.m. and departs on Queen Street West at University Avenue, heads west on Queen West to Dufferin, then turns south and enters the CNE grounds at the Dufferin Gate .

Brampton Food Truck Festival
The Canadian Food Truck Festival is coming to Brampton. This is a family celebration where you can enjoy delicious food and drinks. Additionally, some local artists will perform with live music.
Admission and parking are free. It will be held at Chinguacousy Park, 9050 Bramalea Road, Brampton.

Toronto Dragon Festival 2023
The Dragon Festival takes place in Toronto from September 1-3 with impressive acrobatic shows and lion dancing competitions. Attendees can also enjoy Asian street food and cultural performances at Nathan Phillips Square.

Canadian International Airshow
The 74th Canadian International Airshow returns to the Toronto waterfront. This Labor Day long weekend, don’t miss the incredible aerial performances honoring Air Force veterans. There will be amazing aerial displays from different groups.
Plus, you can see unique aviation exhibits featuring historical artifacts and cutting-edge technology, and sample delicious food. The best places to enjoy the show are Ontario Place, Marilyn Bell Park, Sheldon as well as the mouth of the Humber River and Humber Bay Park.

The largest rib festival in Canada
Each year, Canada’s largest Ribfest features chefs who showcase their skills and compete for titles like “Best Sauce” and “Best Ribs.” The event takes place over Labor Day weekend and offers visitors family fun, including musical entertainment, a craft fair, kids’ activities and, of course, delicious ribs.
This event is a charitable fundraising initiative managed by Rotary Burlington Lakeshore. It takes place at Spencer Smith Park, 1400 Lakeshore Rd, Burlington, admission is a voluntary donation.
