Eric Young return to IMPACT Fight to be the companion of Scott D’Amore and together they won Bully Ray and Deaner like him Team Canada during broadcasts of Slam Diversary 2023. Darren McCarty helped the Canadiens earn their long-awaited victory on home soil.
In the final moments, after D’Amore and McCarty threw Bully Ray against a table, Scott hit him with a Canadian destroyer at Deaner then Young jumped in with his Elbow Drop for a three count.
D’Amore’s partner was originally meant to be BCPbut The Canadian Frankenstein He was badly attacked by Maclin and Ray two weeks ago on an episode of IMPACT!, where he was even set on fire by Bully himself, and his condition being unknown, he was eventually discarded. It should be noted that this was part of the kayfabe.
Scott D’Amore was in a press conference with Tom Hannifan and there he confirmed the PCO’s departure from the match at Slammiversary and would be looking for a partner to be revealed at the event. The former president was not on Busted Open Radio, where Deaner was announced as Ray’s partner.
