Canadian cafe chain Tim Hortons is ready to open a branch in the Mexico City current 2023, this is at least how the president of the company of our country let see it in a video broadcast on social networks this Sunday, June 25.

During the celebration of Canada Day in Nuevo Leon, Shuna HemingwayDeputy Ambassador of the Canadian Embassy in Mexico, released a video in which she asks Juan José Gutiérrez, President of Tim Hortons of Mexicothe opening of a branch in the country’s capital.

Faced with this request, the leader pointed out that on August 31, 2023, the inhabitants of the capital would be surprised.

“In Mexico, you can’t say no to a woman. On August 31, we will be in Mexico City,” said Juan José Gutiérrez.

The chain already has several stores, particularly in the north of the country with Nuevo León as one of its main markets, as well as a presence in Coahuila. Operations extended to Querétaro, but a landing in Mexico City was not yet planned.

What is Tim Hortons?

Tim Hortons is a Canadian coffeehouse chain founded in 1964 by the hockey player of the same name with the first store opened in Ontario.
