ALTIPLANO DE HIDALGO.- Four of the five municipalities that make up this region of the state have launched a call for the hiring of police elements; In this sense, ex-police officers in uniform and in activity revealed to El Sol de Hidalgo that some have decided to leave the ranks of this corporation because, they say, the salary and working conditions are no longer adequate and to solicit what they call the “Canadian Dream”.

Yesterday, Tuesday, June 20, through the pages of this newspaper, it was reported that in Tlanalapa, only three police officers per shift ensure the safety of a little more than eleven thousand inhabitants of this city; however, it is in this municipality of the region that so far this year there has been no call for the hiring of additional officers.

Contrary to this fact, in Emiliano Zapata and Apan, in the last two weeks there have been calls for the hiring of elements in the respective directorates of public security, public transport and municipal roads, and c is according to what former leaders of the two companies since the beginning of the year, there have been police cries.

Former uniformed officers indicated that one of the main reasons is that the salary is not competitive and that some compatriots have tried their luck in countries north of Mexico, especially in Canada, where, they said. , they carry out activities related to land and construction, but with wages, they assured, “much higher than those offered in the region”.
