With the work of investigating and following up on the case of the disappearance of a Canadian citizen in Puerto Vallarta, the Directorate General for Monitoring the Prosecution’s Procedures succeeded in a supervising judge will pronounce a sentence for Marcela “A”, Martín Alejandro “R” and Andrés Javier “R” to 56 years and 3 months in prison by accrediting their full participation in the crime.

How was the kidnapping?

According to the investigation file, it was possible to prove that on the night of October 27, 2018, the victim moved in the company of Marcela “A” in a restaurant located in Playa de Los Muertos, in the coastal municipality, where they lived together for a while.

Already in the early hours of the 28th of this month, they went to another restaurant on Olas Altas Street, in the Emiliano Zapata neighborhood, where they drank liquor for the early celebration of the convict’s birthday.
