Seven little gymnasts from Oaxacabetween 7 and 11 years old, they snagged the gold medal at the 2023 Koop Cup tournamentwhich took place in Toronto, Canada.

Arani Cruz García, Azucena Rubí Cordero, Camille Hernández Martínez, Isabel Merlín Amelco, Mariana Marini Díaz, Naomi Flores Jarquín and Natalia Sierra Hernándezthey are part of the team Diamondswho managed to seduce the jury with their stunts and balancing acts.
The Group Aesthetic Gymnastics competition was held from April 27 to 30, according to the Facebook page of the Hello Oaxaca Gymnastics Club, the girls won first place in the competition on April 30, so they celebrated Children’s Day twice.
The gymnasts are from Santa Cruz XoxocotlánOaxaca and to reach international competition they had to train hard, in addition, they took on the task of seeking support to be able to travel to Canadian lands.
The girls and their families asked for support in their community to gather the necessary financial resourcess to take flight and realize his dream of becoming a champion.
Selling chocolates, asking for cooperation in the streets and to publicize their cause through social networks were part of the actions they carried out to raise the money they needed.
