A series of drone and missile attacks took place in Ukraine, and in particular in the regions of kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk, overnight from Thursday to Friday, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

The attacks began at 10 p.m. on Thursday and the last occurred at 5 a.m. the next day, according to the Air Force.

The command reported 17 cruise missiles and 31 “attack drones” and noted attacks in the Dnipro and Kharkiv regions with S-300/S-400 missile systems.

In the city of Dnipro, the head of the regional military administration, Serhii Lysak, said that five cruise missiles and six “Shahed” drones were shot down by Ukrainian forces.

“It was a very harsh, very noisy night. The enemy massively attacked our area with missiles and drones,” he said.
On the damage caused, Lysak said a fire broke out at a private home and two private businesses, but they were extinguished, while a transport business, two houses and a car were damaged. A gas station was also hit and an injured employee received medical treatment.

kyiv also suffered airstrikes across the city. Serhii Popko, head of the Kyiv city military administration, posted on Telegram that Tu-95MS strategic bombers from the Caspian region, presumably equipped with Kh-101/Kh-555 missiles, targeted the city , but all were affected. “detected and destroyed”.

Shortly after, in another message, he claimed that damage had been caused by falling debris in the neighborhoods of Obolon and Shevchenkivskyi, but he did not cite any casualties.
