Querétaro has 96 companies of Canadian origin dedicated, mainly, to the manufacture of plastics and automotive parts, in order to strengthen ties and attract more investment from this country, the head of the Secretariat for Sustainable Development (SEDESU), Marco Antonio Del Prete Tercero, participated in a networking with a business trade mission from Canada.
In his participation, the state official stressed that the state represents a great opportunity for the arrival of projects in sectors such as automotive, aerospace and information technology, since it has formed personnel and conditions that provide certainty for business growth.
Querétaro will always be an ally
He also pointed out that in Querétaro they will find an ally in other sectors such as protected agriculture, since the state is one of the few that has its entire territory ordered according to its environmental vocations .
On the other hand, Del Prete Tercero reported that in 2022, capital flows from Canada were reported for 120.9 million dollars, and for the period from 1999 to 2022, investments were received for 2 396.9 million dollars, placing this country as the third largest trading partner of the State. .
