Alphonse Davies He became one of the best left backs in the world. It is one of the pillars of Bayern Munich and the flagship player of the Canadian team. Although everyone thinks he leads a perfect life, the reality is that he is not having a good time in Germany. In a recent broadcast on his Twitch platform, the 22-year-old footballer confessed how difficult the life of a professional footballer can be.

The young winger has confessed that he is alone in Munich which has made his life difficult outside of football. “The life of a professional footballer is beautiful, that’s for sure. To relax and enjoy life. But after practice there’s nothing to do”, commented on social networks.

Davies added that he feels lonely in Germany as, apart from being away from his family, he has very few friends in the city. “As I have no family and my girlfriend does not live with me, I am alone. I probably have five friends. I’m a popular loser”, underlined the winner of the Champions League.

Not having many passions outside of football has bored him when he’s not traveling with Bayern Munich or training. “It’s a bit worrying not to have anything to take care of and especially when all your friends have jobs.”, were the last words of the footballer, who does not complain about the life he leads after a difficult childhood.

Davies: had minutes with Canada

Alphonso Davies played a large part of the match between the Canadian team and his counterpart from Curaçao, during the 5th day of the Concacaf Nations League. The Bayern Munich player spent 63 minutes on the pitch and played an important role in the 2-0 win.

It should be noted that the Canadian team is in first place in Group C with six units. Honduras have the same points, but Davies’ side have a better goal difference. The two teams will meet again on Tuesday 28 March for Matchday 6 of the Concacaf Nations League. Whoever remains first will qualify for the final round of the championship.
