Lollapalooza Brazil 2023: Drake and Rosalía will close the festival

The Brazilian edition of the contemporary music festival Lollapalooza Brasil 2023 kicked off on Friday with a varied program in which Americans Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X which were the main attractions of the first day.

For this Sunday, after three days of intense programming on the four stages set up at the Interlagos racecourse in Sao Paulo, the fence will be in charge of Canadian Drake and Spanish sensation Rosalía.

The first concerts, with few audiences, were given by local artists such as Gab Ferreira, Curol, Aliados and Brisa Flow, the first indigenous Brazilian artist to perform at the festival.

But the presentations most awaited by the Brazilian public were those of the Americans Kali Uchis, of Colombian origin; rapper Lil Nas X and Billie Eilish, the young star who owns 2016’s hit “Ocean eyes.”

On Saturday, the second day, the main lineup included Australian psychedelic band Tame Impala, Americans Twenty One Pilots and Melanie Martinez and Brazilian star Ludmilla, one of the greatest exponents of carioca funk.

This Sunday, the famous Brazilian reggae and rock band Os Paralamas do Sucesso will perform on the program. The closing attractions, without a doubt, will be Drake and Rosalia.

The Canadian is due to arrive in Sao Paulo after his presentation in Colombia in a Boeing 767-200ER from the CargoJet company exclusively for him and has confirmed that he will participate in a private party on Saturday at the executive airport of Campo de Marte.

Lollapalooza Brasil 2023 will close it, the Spaniard, who was in Brazil in 2022, returns to the country with the success of her merengue “Despechá” in the stellar soap opera of the Globo network “Vai na fé”, which again catapulted her admiration from her Brazilian supporters. EFE
