Since 2015, the Canadian government has implemented a series of fast-track entry programs (Express Entry Programs) aimed at selecting qualified foreign workers based on their skills and their ability to contribute to the economy of Canada.

Express Entry handles applications for three economic immigration programs: the Federal Skilled Trades Program, the Canadian Experience Class and the Federal Skilled Worker Program.

Specifically, to be eligible for the latter program, applicants must meet certain minimum requirements in terms of skilled work experience, language skills, and education.

If they meet all of the minimum requirements, the application will be assessed on age, education, work experience, if you have a job offer Valid English and/or French language skills and adaptability.

These factors are part of a 100-point grid used to assess program eligibility. The current pass mark is 67 points. Once a person is selected from the Express Entry pool, the government selects the top-ranked candidates and invites them to apply for permanent residency.

Among the requirements applicants must certify is qualified work experience in one of the following areas workgroupsaccording to the National Occupational Classification (NOC):

-Management jobs (skill type 0): management jobs, such as
restaurant managers, mine managers, coastal captains (fishing).

– Professional jobs (skill level A): professional jobs that usually require a university degree, such as doctors, dentists or architects.

– Technical jobs and skilled trades (skill level B): Technical jobs and skilled trades that generally require a college diploma or apprenticeship training, such as cooks, plumbers, electricians.

0014 Senior managers – health, education, social and community services and associative organizations
0015 Senior managers – commerce, broadcasting and other services, ncop
0016 Senior managers – construction, transportation, production and utilities

0112 Human resource managers
0113 Purchasing officers
0114 Other administrative service managers
0121 Insurance brokerage, real estate managers and financial managers
0122 Banking, credit and other investment managers
0124 Advertising, marketing and public relations managers
0125 Other business service managers
0131 Leaders of telecommunications operators
0132 Postal and courier services managers
0211 Engineering Managers
0212 Architecture and Science Managers
