Guinness Records recognizes Canadian twins as world’s most premature

Brothers Adiah and Adrial Nadarajah they hold the Guinness record for the most premature babies and are considered by many to be “miracle children” who managed to survive thanks to the development of science and the immense love that their parents put into caring for them.

These little ones were born in Canada, four months earlier than expected, just when their mother was 22 weeks pregnant.

Guinness World Records, recognized the Nadarajah babies as the most premature and lightest twins ever born. Prior to this case, the record was held by the Ewoldt twins who were born in Iowa at 22 weeks and 1 day gestation.

Shakina Rajendram and Kevin Nadarajah, are the parents of Adiah and Adrial. Early in the twin pregnancy, they struggled when their doctor told them the babies weren’t “viable.”

“When I heard those words come out of the doctor’s mouth, I still I could feel the babies very alive inside of me. I couldn’t understand how they couldn’t be viable,” Shakina said. CNN.

Adiah’s and Adrial’s parents are aware that the premature birth of a baby can lead to health complications, both in the initial stage and later, but they stated that they don’t expect perfect children. They strive to provide them with the greatest possible stability in their homes, and love this tremendous boost that they have not lacked since their conception.
