The Weeknd, the artist who has won the biggest music awards and a Diamond Award, has confirmed new dates for his tour of Latin America, which includes Lima, Monterrey, Buenos Aires and Guadalajara. The Canadian musician and soloist will perform in our city on October 22, at San Marcos Stadium.

The ‘Save your tears’ singer arrives as part of his hit world tour, ‘After Hours til dawn tour’ which includes 43 dates, with stops in Europe and Latin America. This is the first time that Peruvian fans of The Weeknd will be able to enjoy live two of the most successful albums of his career After Hours (2020) and Dawn FM (2022).

The tour is one of the greatest productions of the artist’s career and his proposal combines elements of theater and performing arts to recreate an evening in a club, in which the visual and sound worlds will merge.

The “The Hills” singer is also a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations World Food Program, which seeks to address the global hunger crisis.

On this occasion, one dollar will be donated to the cause for each ticket sold on the tour in Latin America, it will be the same in the United Kingdom and in other European countries but in pounds sterling and euros, funds which will be directed to the XO Humanitarian Fund, which is supporting the organization’s response to this unprecedented global hunger crisis.

The “After Hours Til Dawn” tour is the first to showcase cutting-edge Web 3.0 technology, powered by Binance, the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchange.

Thus, spectators will receive souvenir NFTs and will have access to an exclusive collection for the tour; while 5% of digital asset sales from the World Tour will go to The Weeknd’s XO Humanitarian Fund, part of the World Food Programme.

The tour celebrates The Weeknd’s album After Hours (2020) and its hit single “Blinding Lights” which was named Billboard Hot 100 New No. 1 Song of All Time, surpassing Chubby Checker’s 1960 hit “The Twist”. As well as her acclaimed album Dawn FM (2022). Artists Kaytranada and Mike Dean will join The Weeknd on all dates as guest artists.
